In a move to further expand its packaging systems and solutions to customers worldwide, MeadWestvaco Corporation, headquartered in Virginia, has acquired Keltec Dispensing Systems, a leading manufacturer of foamers and airless dispensing systems, based in Drunen, The Netherlands. Terms were not disclosed.

Keltec serves customers in the personal care, health care, cosmetic and home care markets. Its solutions feature a unique metal-free dispensing path that prevents any direct contact between the formulation and metal, therefore maintaining the highest degree of product integrity.

Keltec will become part of MeadWestvaco Calmar, the company’s pump and spray packaging solutions business acquired in 2006.
